What Did You Say?

Tomorrow is the day that never comes;
yet, it is always arriving.

Yesterday was always there;
yet, it is haunting.

Today is active space;
yet, we fear this race.

Death has always been;
yet, birth seems to just begin.

Amazement is not our treasure;
yet, we mine it in our wonder.

Hatred seems to bring us pleasure;
yet, love seems to gives us pain.

Illusion seems to be our money;
yet, it pays in funny ways.

Life seems to take forever;
yet, time seems to plunder.

Respect seems difficult;
yet, judgment will come so readily.

Discovery seems so terribly scary;
yet, adventure seems so wrong.

Endings often cause flight;
yet, beginnings seem to wane.
